The Technical Writing and Engineering Company provides electronic publishing services on multiple platforms. Seven work station suites, both Mac and PC, linked together by Ethernet to three local area networks (LANs). These LANs communicate with three laser printers, five image scanners, a CAD plotter, a dot matrix printer, a large format photo-realistic printer, and a network modem that is serviced by two ISDN lines. Each work station suite has access to multiple high speed CD-ROM readers, CD-ROM and CD-RW writers, tape drives, disk drives, cartridge drives, magneto-optical drives, etc.
